Author: The only computer course i know is computer networking. I love computers and i would like to get a job that mainly involves computers.
thank you for the answers. I don’t know much about computers. I’m currently interested with computer networking, because it’s the only one i’m familiar with. I would like to know more about computer courses so that i’ll be able to choose.
Then try to get your A+ Certification.
A+ Computer Repair Course Chapter 1 part 2 continued. Part 2 you will learn how to explain what the north bridge and south bridge do in the computer and where they are located. You will be able to identify ATX motherboards and the different ports for attaching input output devices.

I am computer literate and use them on a daily bases however there are some areas of MIcrosoft office I could do with knowing more about to help me find another job. I have thought about doing an ECDL course but its quite expensive and alot of it would be to basic.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My weakest areas are databases, Excel spreadsheets etc where my knowledge is limited. I also need to gain a more detailed knowledge of word and learn mail merge etc.
In this day and age, one does not need to pay for computer courses, especially for something like the Microsoft Office applications.
There are so many sources of information on the Internet, and a seemingly endless supply of technical books, that anyone can teach their self quite easily. Even Microsoft’s own site has videos and step-by-step tutorials.
