I am computer literate and use them on a daily bases however there are some areas of MIcrosoft office I could do with knowing more about to help me find another job. I have thought about doing an ECDL course but its quite expensive and alot of it would be to basic.
Does anyone have any suggestions? My weakest areas are databases, Excel spreadsheets etc where my knowledge is limited. I also need to gain a more detailed knowledge of word and learn mail merge etc.
In this day and age, one does not need to pay for computer courses, especially for something like the Microsoft Office applications.
There are so many sources of information on the Internet, and a seemingly endless supply of technical books, that anyone can teach their self quite easily. Even Microsoft’s own site has videos and step-by-step tutorials.
